Our members only Christmas party will soon be here.

We're delighted to welcome Pippa Thurgood of the Land Girls to entertain us. Members are requested to bring a plate of savoury or sweet food to share. Wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.

We don't hold the usual table competition at the Christmas party. There will be a special charity table competition with just five classes instead of the usual eight. Everyone is invited to have a go in each class. After the supper, judging takes places with a 20p donation made for your favourite entry in each class. The donations are added up and the winner of each class will be decided by the highest donation. All the monies raised will be donated to a local food bank. After our 2023 Christmas party we made a donation of £40.

Broadstone Horticultural Society 2024 Summer Show

Welcome to our Annual Summer Spectacle!

Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of vibrant colors, tantalizing aromas and endless creativity at our popular Annual Summer Show!

Join us for an afternoon filled with wonder as we showcase the finest talents in photography, floral art, fruit and flower displays, baking and other home produce, crafts, and special classes for little ones!

📅 Key dates and times:

• Tuesday 6th August - Entry evening 6pm to 8pm at Broadstone War Memorial Hall

• Wednesday 7th August - Deadline for postal entries to reach the Show Manager

• Friday 9th August - Entries can be staged between 7pm and 8:30pm at Broadstone War Memorial Hall

SHOW DAY - Saturday 10th August at Broadstone War Memorial Hall, BH18 8AW

• 7:30am to 9:45am - Entries can be staged

• 9:45am - Doors shut ready for judging to take place

• 10:00m to 1:00pm - Judging

• 1:00pm - Doors open to all

• 3:30pm - Presentation of Cups, Trophies and Prizes by the Mayor of Poole

• 4:15pm - Raffle Results and Close

• 🥤 Refreshments: Stay refreshed and energised with a selection of drinks and delicious cakes available in our refreshments room
